I like taking my children to Celaya's. It is close to home and they always have coupons and specials. It's usually cheap to eat there and what you get for the price, is a bit of alright.
The ambiance is lacking, however, as is the service. I've been in when it wasn't busy, perhaps 3 other tables, and I've still had to wait for refills on chips, salsa, and drinks. Sometimes I've even had to walk to the back and ask for service when I couldn't get anyone's attention.
I've also had some problems with my orders, and sometimes I feel it's because of a language barrier. I'll usually substitute the chili sauce on my enchiladas for chile con queso, or ask for no sour cream with guacamole on the side. Most of the time they put all the hot and cold foods on one plate, and will do so even if I ask them not to. They do courteously fix the error, but oftentimes my children are done eating by the time I get my dish out.
In any case, the price is right and the portions are filling. They do have complimentary ice cream cones at the register, and my kids love that extra something for nothing.
I do recommend this restaurant, but I do advise you to take your patience with you as you may very well need it to enjoy your dining experience there.
