Anybody here remember the Wig Wam? If you do, then you're sure to remember Mabel Floyd and her delicious cooking. We used to visit there all the time when I was a little girl, and Mabel was someone I loved dearly.
Mabel's still around, she's just cooking/supervising up at the Cedar Village Restaurant now. You can order off of the menu or eat from the buffet which features salad, dessert, drinks, and Southern home-cooked food. The price is expensive for Irvine, but average for anywhere else you might be. Sundays are crowded, but the other nights it's full, but peaceful. If you stay long enough, you're apt to find Mabel out stirring the green beans. If you do, give her a hug for me.
