Good: i love the cakes from cecil's snack inn in davao city.. Bad: actually i love all the dishes,desserts and beverages of cecil's.. Improvements: i want to improved the place of it because i want it to be romantic and more branches in any part of our country especially in mindanao part.. Other: cecil's snack inn is my favorite i never forget when i set in their chair and i order lots of their food.their cakes are the best.actuelly i suggested to my mother to franchise this kind of business and answered that they will see if we can afford price about it.. more

Great deli and restaurant 9/6/2005

I love Cecil's. It's set in the charming and quiet Highland Park neighborhood, and the Jewish Deli menu never gets tiring. With six different types of reubens (traditional, turkey, vegetarian, and other...) along with MANY other choices, this place is certain to please anyone. They have amazing matzo ball soup, and thier egg bread is simply perfect. In addition, the attached deli is stocked with all the traditional Jewish food, in addition to your "regular" deli grub. It is certain to please anyone. this place is a must try! more

I love Cecil's. The ambiance is lacking in the restaurant area, but the food is without equal. One of the last Jewish delis. The menu has changed little since the 70s. They have assured me, however, that you can still order the "ring around the Kaiser" which was taken off the menu in the early 80s. After the meal, get some bagels or ruglach or hamentashen. They also have lots of home-baked breads, meats (all kosher) and cheeses as well as prepared foods. The only weird thing is the bathroom, which you have to walk through the kitchen to reach. Kind of makes it fun, I think, but views may differ. more

Excellent deli 8/19/2005

I love Cecil’s Deli and I’ve never met anyone who didn’t like it. They have big delicious sandwiches, hot and cold. It can get a bit crowded at lunchtime, so show up a bit before noon if you want to sit down right away. They also have a nice shop with meats and baked goods in front. more

Great Sandwiches! 8/18/2005

Cecil’s Deli has great sandwiches made with high quality meats and breads. It is a very welcome change from all of the sub sandwich chain stores. They have hot and cold subs, soups, salads, etc. They even bake their own breads! I would highly recommend going out of your way to check out this restaurant! more
