Cava Greens is located in the food court at Republic Plaza, on the 16th Street Mall. It is a wonderful place to go for lunch. It is expensive, but the salads there are the best you can get anywhere. You walk up to the counter and choose the ingredients you want in your custom-made salad. They have many ingredients to choose from, including mangoes, different kind of olives, croutons, lots of homemade dressings, grilled salmon, feta cheese, and of course several varieties of lettuce. You pay by the pound for the salads. The meat costs extra. A salad can cost almost $10 if you go crazy and get everything on it. You will learn quickly that you should choose wisely. The nice thing is, you can eat there every day and get a different salad, based on the ingredients you choose.
