Cat Sense Feline Hospital and Boarding

I am responding to your post, TM. My sympathies go to you on the death of your dear cat. I know how painful it is to lose a beloved pet who is like a child to us. My husband and I have been taking our cats (all 6 of them!) to Cat Sense since 2009. We have always found Dr. Sinclair and her staff to be very caring, compassionate, and skillful. Her hospital is among the most loving places we've ever been to. We've enjoyed talking with other clients in the waiting room, and it's clear that they feel the same way about Cat Sense as we do. \r \r Having to put our beloved pets to sleep has been extremely traumatic and painful for us. The more we love a pet or a person the more painful it is to lose them. I know you loved your cat a great deal. more

The people at CatSense are really nice and sweet, as long as you are spending money. But rest assured, the minute you decide your pet has had enough, there is nothing more to do to save them, and the only option left is euthanasia, their whole attitude will change and you will suddenly become the most horrible pet owner there is. They will have no problem showing their disappointment and ridiculing you, just in case you didn't feel horrible enough that you have to put your beloved pet down. Their attitude is ""keep spending money on useless tests to reconfirm the already confirmed diagnosis and on pain medication to give your pet some more time"" even if the pet is failing to thrive in every way. I am all for giving my pet every opportunity to live a happy, healthy full life, but when it is obvious that all avenues have been exhausted and a decision has to be made, a little compassion would go a much longer way than trying to make me feel worse than I aleady do. Cat Sense is unlike any other vet office. The ladies are all top notch and Dr. Sinclair is one of the kindest, most gentle veterinarians I have ever met. These are the kind of people I can truely trust for the well being of my most mysterious family members. They have nothing to hide and will gladly take you on a tour at the drop of a hat. I've been going to Cat Sense for 10 years now, and you couldn't ask for better people, care or facilities. Dr. Sinclair is top-notch medically and keeps up to date on all the latest research and findings. The staff is wonderful too, and won't find a bigger group of cat lovers. more

It is rare to find a vet office that sees its patients quickly. My waiting time has never been more than 10 minutes and I can usually be seen within 2 days of when I call for an appt. The main vet (I forget her name) is very gentle with my cats and they seem to like her too. Also in the office sometimes you can see a 3-legged cat walking around, he is so sweet! Parking is also convenient even though the lot is small. I would highly recommend Cat Sense to any cat owner. more
