I moved here from NYC and thing first thing I ask is ""where can I get a good pizza?"" Lots of Italians here, so I figure I can't lose right? Wrong! Man, Rhode Islanders do not know good pizza. Glaring example is Caserta's. I've had frozen supermarket pizza that was better. For what Caserta's charges for a pie, you could send a kid to college. Another clunker is that they act like they're doing you a favor by serving you one of their atrociously over priced pizzas. Tasteless crust, like Wonder bread. Sauce like ketchup, horrible!! If they opened up a joint like this in NYC or Brooklyn, they wouldn't last a week. They'd find the owners in a dumpster along with their pizzas! Anyone coming in from out of town...stay away! The locals just don't have a clue, they haven't tasted what other cities have to offer.
Pros: Funny statue outside
Cons: food, service, price
