This is a steak house that doesn't know how to cook steaks! 3/13/2009

Been here lot's of times and finally had to quit going. The cooks don't know how to cook a steak and since I NEVER send food back I would have to take my steak home and cook it the right way. The managers at this place are pretty lame...the owners weren't intrested in my concerns either. I have a problem spending $25 dollars for food that is under cooked. Tough go at the Cask.... 10/20/2008

I have eaten at the Orange location a couple of times. I will not be back. The first time was on a saturday night and we sat at the bar. We were the only two people in the bar, but it was pretty obvious that the bartender had no interest in us. The food (when we finally got it) was exceptional. In fact, it reminded me of the quality of food that the old Orange location had. But that service was terrible. Unfriendly, uninterested, uninspired. When the manager on duty came around he didn't seem to care much either. Tough go at the Cask. more

Better days this place has seen... 8/5/2008

What happend to Cask & Cleaver? Took a first date there recently, dinner before a concert, gonna play it safe, good food, great service...my default restaurant. Big Mistake! Ignored at arrival, (restaurant almost empty 6pm) Ordered meal with drinks, forever to get drinks, got bread even though ordered Prime Rib sandwiches, then forever to get Burned & Soggy beef dips with overcooked, tough, stale beef. Server never asked about how food was, or if we wanted more drinks....my date was NOT impressed! Pros: Interesting location Cons: Food, service, quality more
