services are OK but I was shocked when on my 10th visit or so and the owner basically tried to tell me that I couldn't use a check to tip. I then heard the person I was tipping got in ""trouble"" for taking it. Why should this be an issue? My understanding is that the stylists, etc are all private contractors working on tips and % only. I don't even think they have benefits. Anyway, if I'm going to pay $60 for a mani/pedi then I'll tip in any way I want as long as it's OK with the service provider. I've heard other things but that was a personal experience that I can comment on. That place is owned/run by cruel slave runners! I won't go there on principle alone.
Pros: fancy, serene atmosphere, quiet
Cons: expensive, pushy
