This is a first time message.I live in Tampa, Florida. Every time we come to Centerville Tn to visit my Kin-people we have to eat at Carls Perfect Pig. The fried catfish is superb.The portions are pretty big.My anscesters are across the street in Hutton Cemeterey. Last name is Willey. If ever you are close by go to Carls Perfect Pig. Cons: Could have more parking. Sometimes when a restaurant moves their food changes and prices go up. more

Almost Perfect 7/9/2007

Great BBQ, and great ribs. Also the brownie supreme is to die for! The atmosphere is a bit too casual for my taste and a bit cramped but the food makes up for it. Its a great thing to take home! It would be totally perfect in a newer bigger location but I will still go anyway even at current location. It was said a while back that they were going to relocate nearby in a bigger place. Hopefully that happens sometime. Still AWESOME FOOD and Carl seems real nice. Pros: Food Cons: Needs a facelift and a bigger building. more

BEST ribs in Nashville 6/4/2007

Best ribs and pulled pork in the state, period. Worth the drive. Can't beat the price. Side items are good also. Pros: good food Cons: long drive, smoking more

Reasonbly priced 2/16/2007

I had the ribs with fries and pancake cornbread to go. All was OK, price was OK. But I don't see what all the hoopla is about. I've had better barbecue downtown and I didn't have to sit in pink booths crammed so close together it looked like a feed lot on slaughter day. Nobody in that place looked like they were enjoying the experience. The owner is a hard worker and you gotta commend somebody for gettin' up and doing that every day. But I think a little investment in a comfortable and attractive atmosphere could only help. And give those booths to the penitentiary. Cons: no ambience, crowded more

When you pull up to Carl's Perfect Pig, you'll know that the 'Q is going to be good. This place truly looks the part of a great bbq joint, and the parking lot full of cars confirms it! I have known about Carl's for a few years, but never made the trip before. It was worth it. Pros: Authentic Q joint, clean, good friendly service, great tasting food more
