Carlisle Air Automotive

Carlisle on Huebner. Had AC service done on my Chrysler Town&Country limited (878.00) in 2008,not even a year later and it was broken again. I called them and they could not even find me. I became very frustrated and finally let it go. People build it up too much. There are other places out there with better service, just do your footwork. I recommend stay away from Carlisle. I had a problem with my AC and they repaired it for $895.00, I continued having the same problem and took it back.. they said it was probably a bad compressor and replaced it again. Now the compressor has blown again. I took it to another shop and they confirmed it was the compressor and said that it should not have went out so fast if it was a new part. I called Carlisle and they said they could look at it but would have to charge me to replace and/or repair my AC. It was no longer under warranty because the warranty goes by the first time you purchased the part regardless if your car was never fixed and you had to keep bringing it back. This is very bad service. That is not pocket change I paid out and my car never got fixed. more

People just because they are friendly doesnt mean theyre honest. I took my car to get it diagnosed. My ac wasnt blowing cold air. After they diagnosed it they told me I had to replace the drier, discharge hose and some relay. Total cost $400.00 I paid the diagnosis fee at took it to three other places all of them told me that only needed the discharge hose which had a leak. I told them that I went to Carlisle and told me it wasnt necessary to replace all those parts. They just want to make money. I bought the discharge hose and had it replaced with freon with a total cost of $170.00. People be smart do some research before you go to this place. more

Received a quote from Meineke for my AC not working, they told me it had 3-4 leaks and would cost me 240+ to charge the AC and to bring it back in 2-3 weeks and it would be another 260 + parts. Big Mistake!! I did some nosing around and found Carlisles Auto Air in San Antonio and they found out what was wrong with my AC in about an hour or so, called me with what was wrong, the high side charge port was leaking and the total cost of repairs totaling 115.00. Troy at the San Pedro location and the staff was very professional and 2 months later my AC is performing at it's best and I couldn't be happier. Thanks Carlisle's for the excellent service and to O'Reilly's Auto Parts for referring me to them. more

I've had the privilege of doing business with these guys several times over the last few years and each time it has been a model of excellence. Friendly, helpful people who know their stuff and make you feel like they are glad you are there and want you to come back! I'm a do-it-yourself guy and they treat me with respect and cheerfully and accurately answer all my questions instead of acting like I have somehow bothered them with my ignorance. Their parts are top shelf and they even beat Internet prices and gave me same day free delivery to my place of business!! WOW! Try that one on the Internet with big heavy parts! These guys have ALWAYS done business the way it SHOULD be done every time I have dealt with them. Go Carlisle! Maybe you guys could do seminars for other parts stores on how it's supposed to be done! :-) more

A friend of mine had a/c problems in her car and took it to Carlisle. They fixed the problem in less than a day and had her back on the road without putting a big strain on her pocket book! My mother-in-law has been going to them for years and has been very satisfied with the service that she has recieved thier also. In the old days if you wanted to put freon in your a/c you just went to the auto parts store bought some and put it in. Now you have to go to a liscenced professional. These people can do that to you for just a few bucks. PROS: One Day Service CONS: none more
