I am scratching my head over the positive reviews listed here. The only explanation is that they were written by the owners and their (paid) relatives! My experience with Cardinal was so utterly disastrous that I feel morally obligated to warn anyone who is thinking of using this company to run like an Olympic sprinter. Bill Sr. is a masterful salesman, I will give him that: He sold me on a new, soup-to-nuts kitchen and two new bathrooms, with high-end fixtures and faucets. Needless to say, it was all downhill from there. The ""foreman' - and I use the term loosely - was rude and unprofessional (his tone became abusive when I refused pay him a non-contractual cash advance), and the workmen, as nice as they were, didn't have a clue as to what they were doing. They actually installed bathroom fixtures without noticing they were meant for the other bathroom (!), and they hung a damaged vanity mirror, hoping I wouldn't notice. (I did.) The same stunt was pulled in the kitchen, this time with a damaged cabinet. (Sorry, guys - I noticed!) The workmanship was so clumsily rendered that, a year later, the bathroom-tile grout is falling out in chunks, the silicone casing around the tub is cracking, and the toilets back up and overflow constantly. I should also mention that this job took twice as long to finish as the contract stated (surprise, surprise!). My advice? Don't fall for the smooth-as-silk sales pitch and empty promises. You'll be sorry you did.
