Capitol Hardware Company was founded in 1956 by Charles A. Stacy, Jr., as a Commercial Hardware Distributor serving the Jackson, Mississippi area. Through the hard work of Mr. Stacy and his small staff, the company prospered and grew into one of the leading hardware suppliers not only in the state but also in the southeastern region. Perceiving a growing need and the opportunity for expansion, in the mid-1980's the company added Wood Doors and Hollow Metal Doors and Frames to the list of products which Capitol can provide. Mr. Charles A. Stacy, Jr., retired from the company in 1990, transferring its ownership to his three sons: Charles D. Stacy, who currently serves as Company President; Frazure Stacy, who is Company Vice-President; and Larry Stacy who is Secretary/Treasurer. Charles D. Stacy and Frazure Stacy are certified Architectural Hardware Consultants, making them experts in the door and hardware industry with decades of experience and knowledge behind them. The two brothers work diligently on a daily basis to ensure that all of their clients receive the best quality service and superior products at the most competitive prices. Larry Stacy is in charge of the company's residential division, Capitol Building Products Company, which specializes in Fypon decorative moldings, decorative and structural columns, wood and iron stair components, wood and metal spiral stair systems, and many other specialty building products.
