I had Capital Home Improvements fix my roof, siding, and replaced my windows. The owner of the company, (Paul Conklin, I think) come out to give a quote personally. He was very personable and fair. He was very understanding of my circumstance, and was more than willing to work with me financially to get the job completed! I could not be happier with the workmanship and outcome of the job they were able to complete for me - and at such a reasonable cost! Thank you, thank you, thank you for everything! more

GREAT EXPERIENCE!!! My sister and two friends recommended Capital Home Improvements because they had roofs done. We can't say enough about how happy we are with our new roof. We had two layers on our old roof which they stripped off in one day and the weather turned, so they got everything buttoned up to make it through to the next dry day. 48 hours later, the sun came out and they finished the job. They even put in the gutter guards we bought to keep the leaves out. We also got a 50 year Owens Corning transferable warranty. We bought the crew pizza to say thank you. more

Do not hire! Complete scam artist! Look at BBB reviews. Do not hire! Does not do finish- had workers wife or girlfriend show up and start screaming at her husband who was working on roof of home in our driveway. Had no idea who she was. Workers are scary and not kind. Things came up missing all over the place. I'm told he's a con artist and should have listened. Work not finished- paid 3x more than was told and still never finished job. Always needs more money but then doesn't show up again. DO NOT HIRE! more

We hired the company for new steel roofs and a remodeled bathroom. Should have known to keep close eyes on all the workers from the get go. NEVER worked more than 5 hrs a day, but later learned they charged the company for 8 hrs. Paul Conklin said the new bathroom would take 2 weeks. They started the week after labor day. His workers soaked it for all they could. The first group attempted to rewire the bathroom. They put in all the wiring but my husband called them on it saying it was not the right wiring. (They thought we didn't know anything about remodeling, but we sure told them we did.) My husband is a union electrician so he knew the wiring was wrong. They tried to put the junction box in the ceiling to be hidden by drywall which is against code. They screwed up the new tile floor, didn't install the shower doors correctly and ended up hiding the junction box in the closet ceiling. A job that was to take no more than 2 weeks, we fired them after 7 weeks, and they still weren't finished. We paid them 2x what they were worth. The aggravation of getting anything done in a timely fashion was unbelievable. One of their workers stole my wallet with $200 in cash and all my personal information. I had to call Paul several times over a month to get the roofs finished. I would definitely NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY FOR ANYTHING. They are way more expensive than a lot of other reputable companies. Check the BBB . more

We knew we needed new roof and siding when purchased home. Self-evident to the naked eye. That's why every place we called estimated and quoted ridiculously high! We saw Capital Home Improvements working down the street and inquired. The owner (amazingly!) gave us a very fair and reasonable quote. ALSO owner (humbly!) asked about our financing and if he could try to do better for us with his contact. Then he DID! We couldn't believe it b/c we didn't know him...ya know, not family doesn't owe us anything...so...anyway the job is done! We now have a sellable (for 50 yrs!) Owens Corning roof and no more painting with the brand new siding! We did run into some issues (the job was extensive!) BUT all was promtly dealt-with and they NEVER asked us for ANY more money!!! THANK GOD WE GOT THAT ONE, LAST QUOTE!!! We are pleased to now-know you, Paul Conklin! :) Thank you for being fair, up-front and responsive. Thank you for dealing with the enormity of our home repair and in a timely fashion. We wish you all the best, we will keep you in mind for future repairs, and (haha) we hope you make enough money someday to get those very-shiny dumpsters! :) Thumbs up, friend! more
