My marriage wouldn't have made it without their help 10/26/2010

My husband and I received marriage counseling from a excellent counselor. Our sessions lasted over one year. Our marriage improved tenfold over this time. She worked with us to find ways of dealing with things that helped both of us communicate better. I would recommend this place to anyone who needs counseling, but cannot afford to go to an expensive doctor. I'm on the waiting list for counseling for my bipolar at this time. more

Don't waste your time 11/1/2005

This place is truly awful! This place is for people who are low income and in need of counseling--they only charge about ten bucks for a session, but that's about all it's worth (at most). They allow people to act as "counselors" who aren't--they're students who lack experience and appropriate training. They tend to just sit there and stare, without offering any real help, and it's just a major waste of time. I felt worse after going there! more
