Canton Country Day School is a nonprofit, coeducational institute that serves students in preschool through grade eight. The school provides instruction in several subjects, such as writing, science, French, computer technology, math and civics. It manages Albert A. Getman Library, which has a collection of books and periodicals that complement the academic curriculum. Canton Country Day School also organizes overnight field trips. The school operates chess, strings and skiing clubs, as well as a student council. In addition, it provides programs in Spanish, physical education, art and music. Canton Country Day School organizes several athletic events in basketball, soccer, and track and field.
