I have used Canine Country Club in Phoenix twice for my dog, and will never leave him there again. I believe it is unsafe for him and other dogs.

Editorial review from Citysearch 10/11/2012

Never before had we taken our Toby to a kennel in 12 years...we didnt think we were the kennel type...but as he has aged and we travel more, it has become a necessity...Canine Country Club is Toby's favorite ( only ) home away from home...we love having him there, he loves it and actually comes home with way more energy and bounce...the staff is great ...we all love the facilities...will continue to use ...Toby insists on it!! more

Canine Counrty Club Rocks!! 12/30/2011

We have been taking our dogs and cats to Canine Country Club and Feline Inn since we moved to Phoenix in 1995. I can't say enough good things about this boarding facility. Their office staff is top-notch and the kennel staff does a wonderful job caring for our pets. Dawn and Bonnie are the kennel managers/office staff and are always on top of things. While on a two week vacation this October/November, our coonhound needed to be seen by a veterinarian (an ongoing issue he has). We were on a cruise so it was very difficult to immediately get ahold of us. They took Cooper to the vet for an exam/treatment before speaking to us so as to not delay him being seen by a vet. They emailed us and left a voicemail so that we knew what was going on with our dog. We absolutely appreciated the fact that they didn't wait to hear from us first as we were not able to access emails/voicemails from the ship that particular day. Bravo CCC! They have always taken fantastic care of our animals - we've even boarded pet rats and birds! We've never had an issue these past 16 years and will continue to use Canine Country Club and Feline Inn for our boarding needs. more

The best kennel in Phoenix, hands down! 1/17/2011

I have been using the Canine Country Club since 1995 and have always received service ""beyond expectations"". My dogs become very excited about coming to the CCC, usually about 1/2 block away, when they pick up the scent. The staff is especially friendly and exceptionally professional and knowledgeable. And I always know, for sure, that my dogs are safe and being well cared for. In addition, their prices are quite reasonable and their grooming service presents me with a good looking dog upon my return. What more can I ask. more

Great Place for my Babies to Stay 11/5/2010

I started bringing my collies here when they were four months old for doggie daycare. They are now over one year old, and the place is like their home away from home. Everyone working there knows them and loves them, and my puppies practically knock me down to get in the front door when we arrive three days per week. I trust the staff of Canine Country Club with my ""kids"", and they have always treated me with kindness. The cost is ridiculously reasonable for daycare and overnight boarding. This is a great place to bring your pets. The review written by the person on 4/21/10 that was so negative must have been written by a dog parent expecting resort accommodations on a Walmart budget. Get real. The place is clean, and the animals are well cared for. I'm a resident here, not a visitor. I wouldn't steer anyone wrong. more

Would never go back 4/21/2010

I was visiting from out of town and needed a place to drop my dog for 4 hours on short notice. The reviews looked great so I called. They were very friendly and accommodating on the phone. The woman on the phone said they had indoor and outdoor runs. I asked her if I could get an indoor run as it was very hot. She said no problem. - She never told me they were combined, they only have runs the go from inside to outside. I arrived, waited, they copied my dog's records and called for someone to take her back. Since it was my first time there, I asked to see where she would be staying. The guy taking her back and the woman at the front desk, made a look at each other that was telling. When he took me back, the place was DISGUSTING. In their defense, he said it was cleaning day. But that made me wonder, do they only clean once a week?? There was urine and feces everywhere. It reeked very badly. As we passed the building that homes the inside part of the dog's run, the guy pushed the door open quickly and as it swung shut said, ""that's the inside, you can't go in there because it's a safety hazard, you might slip and fall."" - on doggie elimination, I'm sure from the smell. And if its ok for dogs, shouldn't it be ok for people to see?? I wanted to take my dog and run but had no choice, it was too hot to leave her in the car. When I picked her up she was going crazy, like lets get out of here. All the great reviews seem strange to me. Even if it was 'cleaning day', no place that houses dogs should EVER be that dirty, smelly and disgusting. Feces should not just sit until cleaning day. I will never, ever go back there. Pros: Price, was able to set up on short notice Cons: The place was disgusting, customer service more

Cocker Spaniels On Vacation 11/13/2009

I previously wrote a review titled ""Doggies On Vacation""' but it has somehow disappeared. My babies are cocker spaniels named snoopy and brandy. We love this place so much that we drive from Queen Creek on the day prior to our trip to drop them off and we pick them up the day after we return. We have used Canine Country Club for the 6 years we have lived in Arizona. As we near the place are doggies are sleeping' but apparently they can smell the place and they wake up and are so excited they can hardly wait for us to park the car so they can go visit the other doggies. We absolutely love this place. They generally stay 2 to 4 weeks at a time. The staff is wonderful and I hope this business is around for a long time! Pros: Dogs Love It Cons: Distance From Home more

Love CCC 3/31/2009

I'm surprised to see a negative review. I've been taking my dogs to CCC for years and they love it! When I pick them up, they look happy and healthy. The staff has always been very friendly and personable. Pros: Always get us in, friendly, personable and my dogs love it. more

Wonderful Place to Board Your Animals! 9/30/2008

I have been taking my dog Gus to Canine Country for several years now for day care and for extended stays and he has always received wonderful care. He loves going there and loves the entire staff. They have always taken exceptional care of him and provided me with wonderful service. It's a great piece of mind knowing they are available if I need to go out of town. I truly don't know what I would do without them. Thank you CCC! Pros: Great Staff/Close to Airport/Nice Facility/Reasonable Prices more

Your Pets' Home Away From Home 9/28/2008

I love CCC and so do my dogs. I have been taking them there for more than 5 years. It's so convenient too--on the way to the airport, and near the freeway. Whether its several times a week for day care or several times a year for a business trip or vacation, they love it. During the work week, towards the end of my morning routine, my dogs follow me around hoping that today is the day they get to go to day care at CCC. The indoor outdoor dog run is perfect so they can either rest and relax where it is cool, or run around and be dogs on the move. If you board them for 7 days, they get a complimentary bath. Dawn, the manager, is great and always goes out of her way to accommodate me and the dogs, as do the rest of the staff. (Yes, I have been known to be late picking them up after work.) My oldest dog is now 12, and I think the activity and love she has gotten while I am at work has kept her looking and feeling younger than her years. I have also boarded a cat there. It is great because you can choose from an indoor outdoor run or an indoor room with a view and a perch, depending upon your cat;'s usual environment. Pros: Customer Service; loving environment more

Best day care and overnight kennel around 9/26/2008

My two beloved pets love to stay at Canine County Club, either for day care or to stay for a long visit. They take such good care of my babies. I work long hours and I am blessed that I have such a great place to leave my babies and I do not feel guilty when I have to leave them overnight for traveling or working late. They love to go to CCC. They never shake or act afraid when I take them. They are so happy when I pick them up. They are tired when I take them home, but it is because they had so much fun when they were there. You can tell from the people that work there that they care and love the animals. I have recommended CCC to all my friends and co-workers and I have never heard a complaint from anyone. Also I have an older dog that needs special attention and the staff at CCC takes good care of her and makes sure she is comfortable. I have my babies groomed at CCC and they are so pretty when I pick them up. I know that their policy at this time is a free bath when the pet stays at least 7 days, and if the stay is less than 7 days, you have to request a bath for a small price, which I think is very reasonable. This makes my life simple, which I need, because I can have them groomed while they stay. I have always been so happy with the services, staff and facilities at CCC and I would not take my babies anywhere else. Pros: Very reasonable, loving staff, clean facilities more

Canine Country Club 9/21/2008

As the owner of Canine Country Club I was very surprised to come across this review. We were unaware there was a problem with their Danes. Our records show that Dana and Cole had an uneventful stay at CCC. They were happy and adjusted well to their environment. We are very quick to let owners know of any problems their pets may of had during their stay. We also spare no expense in making sure the pets are O.K. We are quick to take our charges to the vet. We always err on the side of caution. Dana and Cole were fine when they left Canine Country Club. Pros: not a pet hotel more

Great Boarding 7/3/2008

My 2 dogs really enjoyed there stay at the club. They have been going there for years they always jump out of the car and are ready to go right in. You can tell that the employees really love what they are doing. I would recommend Canine Country Club to who ever is looking for pet boarding. Pros: customer service, animal care, hours more

Horrible Animal Boarding 6/18/2008

We are COMPLETELY and UTTERLY aggravated with this place!!!! We took our 2 danes there 2 years ago and we had a lovely experience... This time around begs to differ completely. When we picked our dogs up, they seemed sedated (walking funny and hard time standing), they weren't washed, like the borchure states that they do... And taking a closer look at them at home, they were scratched up!!! Our little dane got the worst of it and keeps limping on her front paw, looks like someone stepped on it and possibly fractured it. I WILL NEVER TAKE MY DOGS HERE AGAIN!!! NOT WORTH ALL THIS HASSLE! My dogs wont stop shaking and havent eaten. I am filing a complaint with Better Business and such. I have pictures to prove what happened to my dogs. I dont not recommend you taking your dogs here! THEY DO NOT CARE!!! I dont know if its under new management and frankly I dont care. I dont want this happening to other dogs!!! Pros: Absolutly nothing!!! Cons: EVERYTHING!!!! more

Canine Country Club and Feline Inn 12/21/2007

We have been boarding our pets here for the past 12 years. It is run by a very caring and compassionate staff. We love the fact that our bigger dogs can board in the indoor-outdoor runs while our smaller, older dogs can board in the indoor building and be taken outside several times a day. We recommend this boarding facility to anyone! more
