This by far, one of the best restaurants in Ft Lauderdale/ Wilton Manors. The food is authentic, fresh and you can taste the passion put into the dishes! Armando, the chef, is a genius . I have rarely eaten food like this...........cooked with passion and love! The wine is list is phenominal and the wait staff, are informed and attentive.\r I highly recommend this restaurant! more

I went after my friends recommended the food, the service and the wines... they had warned me about the neighborhood...I must admit I was very pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food, service and wines on the menu! I will be going to back to explore more of the chef's daily specials, and my favorite, the tapas plates... more

I had been a few times before and had enjoyed the food, both previous times it was rather slow. However last evening a friend and I decided to dine there and upon arriving it was very busy. We waited patiently as we were ignored for 10 minutes but understandable since the small staff was obviously overworked. A server at long last at least said hello and said he would be with us in a few moments. At that point we were the only people waiting to be seated. A party of four arrived and were obviously friends of the owner and were greeted right away. Finally at long last a female server announced it would be at least 20 minutes before we could be seated. However she proceeded to seat the party of four. I complained to the owner chef and told him I did not appreciate being lied to at which point he began yelling that they were only having a beer and waiting to order food and we could have done the same. I told him we had not been offered that option only that we could not be seated for 20 minutes. He obviously did not care and hope his business model pays off for him because has certainly lost two customers. There are many places to dine in this town so his attitude will not be missed. more

Went here with my father this week, let me say this if you stop by on a Saturday make sure to make a reservation before hand. We went in had some Sangria which i thought was better than just about any place i had in sometime. We has an appetizer of the fried yuca, it comes with two sauces which were really good (a friend also said the empanadas were good as well) for our meal we had the paella damn that was damn good also. Everything was really good I will be going back. more

Went as a casual business lunch and had the place mostly to ourselves. Homey family environment, lots of personalized attention, fresh ingredients cooked with care and deliberation. Everything was tasty. Discounts on for dinner, too. more

My bf and I went here this week and I have to say it was amazing. We were actually the only patrons at that particular time which I don't understand. The food was amazing. Even the house red wine was great. We had very personalized service from the chef/owner. I hope this place gets a little more popular. This place deserves all the business it can handle! more

We are from out of town for a cruise. Took a chance for some good Cuban food buy worried about the potential for bad service. Well they must have read what others have written because te service was top notch even with a rivate party going on. The live Marachi(sp?) band was a nice bonus but not sure if this was just for the party or not. The food was Amazing! Everything from the pork to a veggie only dish of egg plant was wonderfully delicious and perfectly prepared. Definitely worth the 10 min drive from where we were staying. The owner/chef was out a couple of times which was nice and his wife was our server. :) very very mice meal. more

I ate there last night with my wife. Why isn't this place always packed? The food is great, the wine list is interesting and very well priced and the chef/owner a charistmatic host. We had a wonderful evening and will return later this week with friends more

The food is AMAZING!!! UNBELIEVABLE!!! The service is BEYOND TERRIBLE! The Chef, Armondo, is....eccentric. LOL, but talented. They have only 1 server on the weekends..for 15 tables!!! And during the week the Chef waits tables himself. The food is well worth the terrible service (you'll wait 20min just for water, so be prepared). But they could REALLY use an extra server or two. They also need a website! Also, the server and the-sometimes-there server assistant tends to be very rude, so be prepared for that. But again, the food is well worth the endurance, so just try to see past the bad. more

My wife and I have been there twice for lunch. The owner/ chef Armando was very friendly. He has training in Cuban and Italian dishes. He was very accomodating in preparing whatever we wanted. That is there was a dinner item that you wanted for lunch, he could prepare a smaller portion for you. Everything we tried was delicious included the perfectly seasoned and prepared fried yucca, fried plantains, cuban styled pulled pork, gnocchi, camarones enchilados and eggplant parmesian. It is located in a small strip mall. The curb appeal is not the best but you will be doing yourself a disservice if you pass this one up. more

Went there June 7, 2010 with 3 friends for a second time. The first time was very good and this time was great. We had several appetizers and main courses. My friends raved about the food and loved the owners, who talked to us after the meal. There was no sign on the restaurant other than "open" and the strip mall ambience is not the best - welcome to South Florida - but the food was sublime. more

Attempted to go in for dinner - no sign that they weren't open for business. Walked in door, ignored by two owners. Walked back out but decided to try again. A RUDE female guest was sitting at a table and told us to GET OUT, she was having a 'special moment'. Have no idea what she meant but the owners could have addressed us upon entering. It appears the rude female was connected with the place - which is in a dump of a shopping center so they should be happy for any guests that walk in. I will never go back and have made it a point to let everyone I know about my experience. more
