fun waterpark 8/6/2005

this is a great waterpark for those who are not willing to spend that much, priced reeasonallby e at 13 a person and cheaper for kids. on a hot summer day this is a nice place to go and relax and ride a few slides jus to give ur self some excite ment after a longs day work.. and because its so close to hoffman theathers you can drop by and watch a movie afterwards the other great thing is the batting cage which woudl help u improve ur game if needed more

Fun for the whole family 8/2/2005

This is a great family park with tons of activities. There is a mini golf course, batting cages, a fishing area, and a water park. The water park isn't huge but its big enough to keep everyone entertained for the afternoon. There is a wave pool, water slides, and kiddie pools. Kids pay about $13 and adults pay about $10. Kids under 2 get in for free. The park also has plenty of picnic areas with BBQ's or you can buy food from the snack bar. more

Lake fishing in Alexandria 6/25/2005

Lake Cook at Cameron Run Regional Park is a small (two acre), stocked lake for shore fishing. It is a perfect spot to take children. The park also features Great Waves water park which has a huge wave pool, four-story water slides, speed slides, and play pools; a deluxe mini golf course with pond; batting cages; and rental pavilions. The park is easy to get to... from the Beltway-495, take exit 174 Eisenhower Ave. Connector and turn right on Eisenhower Ave. Continue a half mile to the park on the left. more
