Jaime the property manager is a liar and an overall horrible person lacking professionalism and honesty. If you are a female and reasonably attractive, she will treat you like a second class citizen. If you are a single ( or married ) man, she will turn into this sweet, demure person with the hope of catching herself a new man since her husband ditched her with 3 or 4 kids. .. understandably so.
I waited a really long time before reviewing Camden for fear of retaliation. While I was there, I traveled alot for business. She did not like me very much after I called out the the leasing agent on some lies that they told when showing me the apartment.
For example they say "" cable is included if you sign a lease""...... What that really means is the attach your cable bill in with the rent, it's not free, like they imply. So when I put my rent check in when it was due, she denied it without explanation and taped it, without putting it in an envelope on my front door while I was out of town! So, I had an exposed check on my front door for 5 days along with a 3 day notice. She didn't bother to put the check in with the notice, unbelievable!! So, I thought I paid my rent on time but since I had no idea I was supposed to include the cable bill, my check was rejected. When I called to find out what was going on, about this or anything else, all she ever says is "" check the website. All your info is on there"". She tries to relieve herself from any accountability by saying it's the tenants responsibility to check the website for information. When I tried to check the website, I could not get in because she did not bother create an account for me! So, it was a total nightmare. She did all of this nonsense just to appease her little power trip.
Also, the call box was broken the entire time I was there so every time a guest came I had to go down to the parking structure and let them in. When I mentioned the call box did not work they acted very surprised and said they would fix it right away, only to learn from other tenants the box had been broken for almost 1 year!
Then there are all the hookers that lived down the hall and all of the ""johns"" coming in and out all times of the day and night, the people with the yapping dogs 24-7 and the college parties that get wasted and get loud every Thurs night thru Sun afternoon. If you want a quiet building, this is not your place.
When maintenance did my walk thru at the end of the lease they quoted me a very low number for repairs. He said the apt was in excellent condition, you see, I was hardly ever there. When Jaime was done with my paperwork, the number had tripled. She's a vindictive, unprofessional scam artist and I can only hope that if she has not been fired yet that she will be investigated at some point.
The computers in the club room were always down, the gate for tenant parking was always stuck... this place is the worst. When you see the model apartment you think to yourself "" what a great place"". Do not be fooled by these people. You will be miserable there, go somewhere else.
I rented at Turtle Rock apartments, much better. Nicer units and town houses, super quiet, good school district if you have kids, staff is AWESOME, it's a quiet and classy place. Stay away from Camden Main and Jamboree or it will cost you tons of money just to be miserable and you will end up moving again.. unless of course you are a single man that will compensate Jamie's desperation. She will salivate at the mouth if you so much as say hello to her.
