One of Honolulu's best pizza restaurants 2/16/2006

On the outside it looks trendy and upscale, but on the inside it's very relaxed, affordable & family friendly. Good for both couples and larger groups. Prices are surprisingly low by Honolulu standards. Service has been great every time! They do specialty pizzas only, so you won't find pepperoni here. You will, however, find some of the best tasting pizza in Honolulu. Appetizers are delicious, too, although brew selection could improve. Overall, this is one of the best dinner places in Honolulu, especially if you like pizza. It gets packed on Friday and Saturday night, so come early or be prepared to wait. The waiting area is no longer inside - now there are comfy benches outside where you can people-watch the twenty-something customers of the nearby bar/club. Pros: reasonable prices, great service, relaxed dining Cons: busy on weekend eves more

Great Place! 2/25/2004

Great place to bring a date, friends, or even family! This has prompt service, with a wonderful view of the Ocean from atop Ala Moana center. The wait area inside is small, however one step out the door, is a GIANT open area with occasional live music (which is subtle once dining). The price is exactly what you would be expecting if you have a CPK in your hometown (no increase for being in the mall). Over-all a rating of 9. Servers make your experience, just that much better. Pros: Friendly Staff, Quick Service more

Only one on Isle 7/6/2002

Not the usual cuisine you'd expect to encounter while perusing the mall; however, that's exactly what you get here. It's prices reflect the isolation of Hawaii from the mainland: high. The meals and service are great, though there is no waiting area for seating, causing you to be cramed with many others on a one-person-only sidewalk: cramped. No complimentary beverages while waiting in the rain, on the street. Overall, including the wait, it's a 7. Pros: Selection, Meal, Service Cons: No Waiting Area more

  • In Short
Founded in Beverly Hills in 1985, these eateries with the trademark yellow, black and white color scheme have spread nationwide. The decor consists of simple wood and glass with roomy black leather booths. The thin-crust pizzas come with innovative toppings from Asia, Latin America and the Southwest; signature pizzas like the Original BBQ Chicken and Jamaican Jerk Chicken compete with old standbys like pepperoni and traditional cheese. Pastas, salads, soups and sandwiches round out the menu.
