Lets start from the beginning... I called California Gutterworks to come out and give me an estimate for my house to get gutters ( I didn't have any ). Daniel came out, him and I got along, he told me that its just him and his business partner that do the installation and he doesn't have a crew, ""it was a family business"" and i agreed to have them install my gutters for the estimate price. He told me that they would be out the following Friday morning to install them. So i received a call Thursday evening saying that they would be out Friday afternoon (thanks for the change of schedule without my approval).
So They show up Friday and its a person that i never met and his crew... So i didn't like the fact that i was lied to about the no crew part and it was going to be Daniel and his Business partner doing the install. I let them continue with the install.
Well i ended up leaving for an appointment... Made the appointment thinking the gutter people would be at my house in the morning and they would be done before i left.
So i came back to my roof shingles lifted up so bad that they are actually curving up where water wont flow into the gutters and white over spray on my house from them spray painting the downspouts white. (I have a greenish house).
My Dog was throwing up and was just lethargic as hell Monday and i couldn't figure out why.... Tuesday i was about to take her to the vet and figured id check her water. I have a water lick on my water spigot so my dog can go drink water anytime she needs water... well for whatever reason California Gutterworks turned that water off to the water lick.
I have called both Daniel and the office number with no response, Its been 2 weeks since i called.. I haven't paid them yet and didn't plan to until they fix the problems. if they don't then ill nock them down another star and do it myself.
1 month later, after many many phone calls, they Finlay came out to fix they're screw ups. Of course all they did is make excuses, tried to pass the blame on how my house was built (1960 home) and were very reluctant to apologize. I think ill still nock them down a star...
Beware that most of the 5 star reviews were posted around the same day and have a good chance of just being the owner and employees posting.
