I ordered antique natural distressed bamboo by phone, to be delivered late Dec. I hired a worker for 2 days to install in bathroom, starting day after delivery. Planks came on time, but it was not my order. When I phoned cust service, they were very apologetic; they repeatedly asked what I would like to have happen to ""make it right."" But they declined everything I asked for, or they agreed and didn't do it. Notably, I asked them to comp my delivery fees. After all, I was already out-of-pocket for partial payment to the installer. They said no. They agreed, however, to credit a new shipment (much larger) for the shipping costs of the first order and bring down the price a little to sweeten the pot. They did neither; when the salesperson called to follow up, he had no idea what had been discussed with cust service, and when I explained, he said he would get back to me, but never did. They also agreed to deliver the correct order and take away the incorrect one on the same day to minimize the inconvenience to me. When their drivers arrived, they refused to take away the old bamboo, since cust service had not set it up. So I had to stay home from work a THIRD day to correct their error. I phoned the heads of the company, and one called me back. After a long discussion (yes, ANOTHER long phone call about the problems), he said he understood what needed to happen to correct the problems, and that he would instruct his top sale person to contact me about the new order with a price reduction. The sales person emailed me seemingly with no information. He was prepared only to take a new order at the posted price, with no accounting for the time, shipping fees, out-of--pocket, or aggravation that the company originally caused. It is Feb, and I still have not received one iota of satisfaction from Cali Bamboo, and the installer and I have not yet been able to coordinate a time to do the work--in part because I have no more time off work, since the two days that I would have been home for install were spent waiting for the delivery team to swap out the incorrect order. Cali Bamboo has no concept of customer care and no concern for how their errors affect their customers. I gave two stars for the Cali product, but I would not recommend dealing with this company. They do not have an appropriate and mature ""customer service"" attitude.
