The Calhoun County fair is during the month of August, and is the oldest fair in MI, It has great rides for the kids, and large 4H barns full of the many arts and crafts that the youth have created. There are always many animals to see from horses down to rabbits. You will want to make sure that you have some cotton candy and elephant ears while you are there. The fair would not be complete without those. They usually have tractor pulls, demolition derbys, and fireworks as well. During October, there is also a harvest festival held at the fairgrounds.
