Well where do I begin - I have ordered food fro here numerous times and it continues to take long and longer to arrive and gets there colder and colder...This past Wednesday was my tipping point...The food took right at 2 hours to get there (or for those basketball fans out there I ordered right as the start of the Bulls vs Knicks game tipped off and it arrived with 6 mins left in the 4th quarter). The driver said he picked it up close toan hour earlier so I should probably microwave it (appreciated that tip). I have liked this place (and grubhubs customer service which was equally as slow and unimpressive and when i did get through the guy said "sorry bro its a Wednesday night so we are slammed) in the past but that was enough for me more

Delicious and affordable! The dish I ordered spicy came VERY spicy. Many places will shy away from the extreme heat, fearing that our weak American pallets can't deal with it. Not Mamtaz though, no fear at all! Loved it! more

Absolutely delicious! I had my first experience with Cafe Mamtaz at lunch today. I ordered online and requested it be ready for 11:45am. When I got there at 11:43 they were just packaging up my order! Perfect timing and delicous food smells, I knew my day was getting better... I got back to the office and unwrapped my Aloo Parata- a potato and wheat bread- very hot and the perfect balance of savory and sweet when I tore off pieces and dipped it in my Coconut Soup. I also ordered the Nabaraton Korma- 9 veggies in a creamy, mildly spicy and very fragrant sauce. This comes with a side of Basmati rice. I am now STUFFED and still have enough of each item left over to create at least two more meals. I have to say, I can't wait to try everything else on the menu. This was a fantastic first taste. more

What a welcome addition to South Boston this hole-in-the-wall takeout is.\r I've sampled a good part of the menu and I love the samosas, meat and vegetable and the garlic naan to die for. The coconut soup is heaven in a bowl. Everything is well prepared from quality ingredients. The chutney and sauces are close to perfect. My only complaint is that they are close enough to my house that I smell the wonderful aromas from their kitchen wafting across my backyard and it makes me constantly hungry. more

This place is awesome! A breath of fresh air in a town where pizza and your ususal boring fare are seemingly the only options. In these hard economic times nothing makes me more crazy than paying for food that I could make better at home. Finally good indian food in South Boston! My husband and I ordered here for the first time and were so impressed by the fresh ingredients, interesting menu, reasonable prices and great service. My husband had the tandori shrimp and the shrimp was so fresh it just popped in your mouth. I ordered the begun bharta (eggplant dish) and it was to die for. Highly, highly reccomend this place. It will definetly be our new ""go to"" for take out!\r more
