I called CCCarpet to request an in-home estimate for carpet installation in our downstairs area. We scheduled the installation fpr a week later. As the crew prepared to leave our home after a full day's work, my husband and I observed 1) carpet was bulked in the living room area and the hallways 2) the seems that join the carpet to the tile were not completed 3) the stair landings did not have carpet. The crew advised that they brought only one metal Z-bar and they did not have enough carpet for the stairs. So, we agreed that the completion would take place the following Monday. No one had shown to complete the job. Our sales rep knew nothing about anything. He advised that he would call his Sales Manager. We received no call back. Tuesday, my husband called to be advised that the carpet was on order and an installation date would be set for Saturday. We were concerned about the service at this point and expected some form of recovery for the inconvenience that we were experiencing with our home being a construction zone for a week. The manager advised that we should be thankful that CCCarpet was going to provide the carpet shortage at no additional charge. The shortage and additional supplies needed (Z-bars) was not our fault; the sales rep measured our home and CCCarpet provided the installers. We were advised that the GM would call us. We never heard from the GM or anyone else. The customer service manager was most helpless. Another manager advised that CCCarpet is a discount carpet center, these things happen, and we should be thankful that CCCarpet is going to provide the carpet shortage at no additional charge. No person with whom he spoke was comforting, caring, or respectful for our situation entirely caused by the unprofessinalism and incompetence of CCCarpet representatives. If it had been disclosed that ""you are paying cheap, and you should be prepared to get cheap"", we would have gone with another company.
Pros: Nice frizee carpet at an affordable cost
Cons: Customer service
