I'm new to the area and needed to find a good, reliable, cost effective dry cleaner. I tried this one since it was close and since the rates/turnaround time seemed fair. At first I liked the friendliness of most of the employees and had almost no complaints with the work. I'm not sure what changed, but eventually, all of my dress shirts started coming back worse than they went in. It was apparent from the looks of the clothes that they were pressing them at too high a temperature leaving the collars and other parts of the shirts shiny. This wasn't just a slight issue because even the plastic tabs which were sewn into the collars started to become very prounounced from the outside. The final straw was when they did this to one of my favorite shirts and in addition seemed to have dripped oil or some other liquid on to it. When I confronted them about it, I was told I would have to pay to dry clean them if I didn't want them coming out looking like that. These are not no-name brand shirts and the cleaners I've taken them to in the past never had a problem getting them cleaned and pressed without burning them. I told them they were using their press/iron at too hot a temperature and that they needed to turn it down in order to resolve the issue. They claimed that was how it was supposed to be done and almost seemed to indicate there was nothing they could do about the temperature. They finally took the shirt back and dry cleaned it correctly but if I took them up on their suggestion, my dry cleaning bill would almost double on a weekly basis for a service that should've been done right at half the price. I wouldn't grade them so harshly if they offered more than taking the shirt back as a one time thing and telling me to pay more for total dry cleaning but their unwillingness to serve the customer and "know it all" attitude lost me as a customer permanently. Go elsewhere if you value the way you look.
