Out to try a new restaurant here in Columbus, we decided on Betty's, based on the menu we saw online. We were a party of six adults. We arrived at Betty's around 5:15 on a Saturd...

Fun place to hang out... 4/3/2006

My old college friends and I always meet up at Betty's. The food is better then your average bar food and they have fun, yummy drinks and happy hour prices too. Great place to visit with friends and then hit the shops and galleries. Service here has always been good and timely. Love there skillet green beans. more

cool place to go for great food and drinks 9/2/2005

Betty's is a neat little place to go, and I stress little. It is very small, but definately worth going to. You can order Belgium beer that is made from different fruits, I recommend the raspberry. Everything I've eaten there is very good and the staff is fun. more

Pale Ale and Pin-ups 8/17/2005

Betty's has a wide selection of thrilling beers with artistic labels, and they give you good food and lots of it. I like their salmon nicoise salad, except that I can never remember how to pronounce "nicoise," so I never order it. There's also a dish with pasta and artichoke that I had last time and it was really good, but I can't remember what they called it at all...anyway there is usually a special of some kind, and then you can always say, "I want the special." It's a nice atmosphere, crowded, but pleasantly so. The chairs are a little high and I have to swing my feet a lot but it helps to keep you from feeling too clausterphobic. It's fairly inexpensive and you feel like you Went Out To Dinner, in a youthful loosening-the-tie way... the pin-ups keep it all classy low-brow, if that's possible. more

Fun atmosphere plus good food 8/17/2005

Betty’s is my favorite place to get a meal with my drinks. While the drinks are not really better than a dozen other places on High St , the food is what sets this place apart. It is not at all the average “American bar fare” that you find so many places. Definite international influence on the dishes, great flavor, lots of variety. They have a wide selection of beer that I’ve never heard of. It gets crowded at the times you would think it would be crowded, but the staff is very friendly and the décor is fun. more

great food and people watching 8/15/2005

Great food with an eclectic menu. Quite a few vegetarian options. Located in the short north, always crowded on weekends (especially Gallery Hop nights). Also has a full bar with a wide selection of beers. There are Betty Page posters all over the restaurant (probably more interesting to some than others). It give the place character and is it's namesake. The seats by the windows are good for people watching and the table by the jukebox is good for meeting people. more

Cool atmosphere, good beer selection 8/5/2005

I must be honest, I've only been to Betty's once and only had some of their appetizers and alot of their beer. It's quite a small space but that only adds to the atmosphere. It's in a great location in the Short North, right in the center of it all. The food was great, especially the fried ravioli, but I especially liked the unique beer selection that they offered. I recommend the Belgian if you get the opportunity. Overall, Betty's is a great spot to go and grab a couple drinks and a quick bite. more

Good food in a great location 7/7/2005

I must admit, I liked Betty's better when it was called Lost Planet. I also miss the delicious food that they served! However, they have the same ownership, and are located in the trendy Short North area, which makes them a perfect place to stop if you are hungry during a gallery hop. The atmosphere is nice, and the food is very good. Another thing I like about Betty's is that they regularly publish discount coupons and gift certificates. It's an all-around good place to go to eat, with nice wait staff and food. more
