You can see things here that you would never see anywhere else 1/18/2006

I have been going to this place for over twelve years. You can come here and see things that you would never be able to see otherwise. Its a little hard to explain. You take a little bit of "your trash is someone else's treasure" and mix it with a dash of "debilitating pack-rat mentality" and the end result is all of the things you can find at the Rosebowl, the swapmeet, not the football game. more

HUGE!!! 12/31/2005

If you need something unique you will find it here. It can be an all day event. It's HUGE. Its a must see. This is one of the best places to spend a day. You can go to just look. Lots of vendors and food. Which means lots of shopping and eating. Even though some vendors are overpriced, others are very fair and have a great variety of stuff. The only problem I ever have is how to carry everything to my car. Great place for the entire family! more

The best flea market...EVER 10/22/2005

When you think you've seen it all, go check out the rose bowl flea market and you'll be in for a real treat. This is one of the best places to spend a day...even if you do not buy anything! Lots of vendors, which leads to lots of shopping. Even though some vendors are overpriced, and some are justified, others are very fair and have a great assortment of stuff that you have to buy even though you have no need for it. Great place for the entire family! more

Flea Market 9/22/2005

The Rose Bowl Flea Market is a good place to find all kinds of different things, ranging from antiques and furnitures to weird knick-knacks and oddities. You do have to pay to get in, but it usually isn't that much. You can always find something new to buy and shop around for. more

Swap Meet 2nd Sunday of every month 8/16/2005

The swapmeet at the Rose Bowl the second Sunday of every month is one of most popular places for bargain hunters and antiquers alike. The swapmeet is set up in three rings. The outer ring has all the old and most of the time uncollectible items. This is where the bargain hunters go. The second ring consists of a large amount of modern furniture, collectibles, and stuff. The inner ring located inside the gates of the Rose Bowl consists of new items, business such as spa installations, etc. If you want to check out the entire swapmeet, give yourself at least 3 hours. You also need to go early to get the best selection. Admission fee is $7 and they open at 9am to the public-- they do open earlier to the public but it will cost you more $$. more
