Kai's is a good place to get fast Japanese food. During the weekdays at lunch this place is a frenzy with high school kids all wanting to order food. The food isn't that great to worth the wait (sometimes up to 30-45 minutes!). But one pro: their salad dressing is wonderful...with hints of miso and soy, it's delicious.
I'd come here at lunch on a weekend, when school is not in session. Dinner is expensive, but at that time, there really aren't lines.
One warning: The teriyaki sauce is very salty and sweet. I'd suggest the tonkatsu for those who are watching out for their salt intake levels.
