Fountain City Creamery & Restaurant has some of the best food I've ever tasted. My favorite thing to get is a bowl of soup, a sandwich, with a large scoop of ice cream for dessert. The food is really good and it is made quickly. They have so many flavors of ice cream that it gets hard to just choose one. I eat there every time I'm in the area. I give this restaurant two thumbs up. more

Terrific Icecream 8/17/2005

This is a sweet little bistro tucked away in Fountain City. I usually go for the delicious and head across the street to the park. If you are hungry, sit down and try a little of everything. This is really the place to eat light though. The salads are fresh and delicious and the breads are always good. I believe that soups are seasonal but ask. Gourmet sandwiches are also a favorite. here. But if you eat, make sure you save room for that ice cream! more

Local Ice Cream Shop 8/15/2005

The Fountian City Creamery, nestled in the heart of Fountain City next to the park, is most deffinately a local favorite for ice creame. Forget long drives to West Knoxville and try out one of their many flavors of ice cream, milk shakes, malts and sundaes. They also offer a menu with steaks and various sandwhiches. This is a great place to get some great ice cream, however service can be quite bad at times for a sit down meal. more
