Reliable sushi 8/15/2005

This little restaurant on out of the way Sansom has been serving reliable, fresh sushi for years. It is a great place for lunch or dinner and the service is usually very good. If you can not make the drive to Jersey for Fuji in Cinnaminson or Sagami in Collingswood, this is not a bad alternative. Then again, what is a twenty minute drive over the bridge for some of the finest sushi you will ever have( at Fuji)? more

    Forego the elevator up to the steakhouse upstairs and head down into the subterranean digs of G--you'll feel as if you're descending into a post-modern speakeasy. A comfortable lounge and bar, replete with requisite flat screens, is at once slick and welcoming, underscored by luxurious and stylish appointments. Multiple room configurations make G a flexible spot for parties of all sizes. Decidedly more of a nightspot than restaurant, G's food comes from the acclaimed kitchen upstairs at Davio's. A selection of tempting small plates includes tuna carpaccio, cheesesteak spring rolls and burger sliders. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly.
