just like when i was a kid. where the animals are important. my kids had more fun than at the zoo. they got to play with all kinds of animals. the staff wasnt pushy, and the selection was surprising, the store looked small till we went in. way cool more

I like the variety of animals that they have here and am glad that there is still family owned pet centers around Fair oaks. They have tons of things for your animal needs and they carry lots and lots of animals and birds! I love to just go in and see what they have! Compared to petco and petsmart, some of the items they carry are a tad bit more expensive, but that is understandable considering that this is a family owned store and need to make business. Customer service was good. more

This is a nice pet center. They have various pets that you can buy. I have seen dogs, birds and fishes. They also have pet food and accessories. They staff is friendly and helpful. A few years back one of the staff members came to my grand daughters school and showed the children what some different types of pets look like. more

Come here for your next pet 7/17/2005

They have the cutest dogs. They are all purebreed and come with the papers. The prices are high but that's because of the quality of animal you're getting. The dogs are well maintained and taken care of and that's apparent once you walk in the store. PS- If you're just looking for normal pet toys and food, go to petsmart or something. This store is very very high for normal items more

The Local Pet Store 6/19/2005

This is a family run store that caters to the local market. Even though the store is small the have a good size fish section, reptile area, cat and dog section, and a large selection of supplies. The most distinguishing thing about this store is the family atmosphere you get when you come in. Average prices. more
