Sushi buffet 5/4/2006

Go to this place if you are looking for lots of sushi on a budget. They offere a sushi buffet that has tons of sushi options in it for only about 13 dollars. The deal is great because you get to try so many different varieties of sushi, but the sushi isn't the best in town. Most of the sushi rolls are laden with too much creme cheese and a lot of them have too many extra veggies in them. But hey, its cheap sushi and some of it is good so I guess it's a nice place to go for a sushi fix. more

House of Sushi and Noodles 3/17/2006

I love house of sushi and noodles. The owner is so nice and the place just has a very homely, kitschy feel. The sushi is ample and the prices are cheap - less than $20 for all you can eat sushi- which is unfounded in Chicago. Though they've instigated strict strict rules for their buffet, the essence of sushi freedom is still there. The owner sometimes goes around taking your picture and its fun to see your picture on their sushi wall every so often. Customer service is superb. When we were waiting for a table, the owner gave us (and everyone else) free edamame (green beans) which were divine. I LOVE this place. more

This little restaurant in Belmont deserves all the accolades its won. The best thing about this place is obviously the reasonably priced sushi buffet. For once in your life, you will not have to fork out mega bucks for good food! There are 2 types of buffet, the cheaper one will set you back about $13, and you can already choose from such delightful nuggets as chicago sushi, hawaiiwan sushi, boston sushi, etc, all with its own unique fish and conditioning. For $21, you will get *authentic* sushi. YUMMY! And I haven't even gotten round to mentioning the fantastic staff. Your meals come with a smile, and they're ever attentive to your needs. This is a place every Chicagoeon will visit at least once! more
