Careful consideration of color, height, and texture relationships are in full evidence at Noerenberg Memorial Gardens. If you are tired of the same 3 or 4 perennials that are found in almost every Minnesota Garden--you will find Noerenberg Gardens a refreshing change of pace.
While I thought they relied a little too heavily on pastel colors (especially lavender) the plantings beds were cleverly designed and took full advantage of the undulating landscape-in itself another nice respite from the flat, square plots of most Minnesota gardens.
The grape arbors with their 30+ year old vines are quite impressive as well.
