Great local video store 6/11/2009

Video Vault has been on the avenue since I moved to Brooklyn 7 years ago and I'm always happy with the service. They have more titles than Blockbuster down the block and the staff is always friendly and helpful. The membership was free and I didn't need a credit card plus they're cheaper than blockbuster; $3 for 2 day rentals and if you return them early you get a dollar off the next one. My private dvd collection loves them too because if they don't have a movie in stock for sale then they'll special order it for me. The same goes for cds and video games. I love coming here cause I've gotten to know the staff and they always have great recommendations for me. This place is the best. more

Video Vault 8/21/2005

Video Vault is a small neighborhood video rental store. They have a small variety and amount of new releases in comparison to the Blockbuster just down the block. This store has lost a lot of customers after Blockbuster opened a few years ago. In order to keep its share of loyal customers, Video Vault offers cheaper prices and longer rental days. more

Local Video Rental 8/15/2005

A nice local video rental store that opened couple of years ago in the neighborhood. I was so excited because there was no rental stores in the area at the time. The store is kind of small with 2 floors. I believe the second floor is for adult entertainment while the first floor has new and old releases and video games. The selection is up to date, although they don't carry the movie in excess quantity like Blockbuster or Hollywood Video. Also it may hard to find the movie, but the staff is really helpful. They offer 2 different rental rates. A 2 day rental rate of 3.00 dollars and a weekly rental rate of 5.00 dollars which is cheaper than most rental stores. When I opened up a membership account with Video Rental I got charged a membership fee which was about $4 (years ago). I'm not sure do they still charge a fee or their current price of membership. more
