Richmondtown is kind of like Staten Island's own little Williamsburg, Virginia. Creepy graveyards, colonial settlements, a blacksmith shop, and all the things you would expect to find in a historic reenactment site are all there, including people in costume. it's great for kids up to age 10-11 in my opinion. Even if they're not from Staten Island, it's easy to appreciate what life was like for early settlers anywhere in our country.
For adults there are music events, flea markets, antique fairs and dinners thru the year.
