Going to a baseball game is fun. The bright lights, the crowds, the suspense, the hot dogs, the hits.....but getting all the way to the Bronx or Queens is a pain. Why not just go to a SI Yanks game right on Staten Island. The tickets are cheap ($7), it's easy to get to by SI train, or by ferry if youre not from SI, and the stands look out over NY harbor to a full view of downtown Manhattan across the water.
And for someone who isn't obsessed with the names and stats of major league baseball, I find it more fun to watch the guys play who are still playing their hearts out trying to "make it"
