I used Palmer Video for my August 27, 2004 wedding.. it is a husband and wife team that work out of their home.. I was recommended to them by a couple of other brides who got married just before me.. upon meeting with them we decided we would book them.. their presentation was good and they were very kind.. their price was a little more then we wanted to spend on this service but we decided to just book them anyways.. Doug was very easy to work with the day of the wedding, he was never in the way but always there.. we were originally told about 14 weeks to get our vhs, which we would watch and okay it before they burned the dvd's.. 14 weeks came and went without a call, nothing... that was right around the holidays so I called after the first of the year and was told it was not ready yet.. I want to say it was about 6 more weeks until the vhs finally arrived.. so that in itself was a little aggervating.. the video was perfect, we really loved it.. they captured the day wonderfully.. I was happy with everything, expect the turn around time.. I thought we would even get something for having to wait so long, a discount, extra dvd, anything, but nothing was offered.. we were quite busy and didn't have time to go pick up the dvd for quite a while as it is out of the way and they never offered to even mail it until I finally called and requested it be mailed..
I was happy with the product but unhappy with the service.. they are extremly nice people and were a pleasure to work with but I think something should have been done, even an apology would have been nice, when the video was not ready in the 14 weeks that were specified.. I should not have had to call them..
I would recommend them in hopes that they have done something about their turn around time.
