Freedman and Haas Orthodontics - West Palm Beach

My daughter and I have had an absolutely horrible experience with Freedman & Haas. They ONLY time the dentists have ever deigned to speak to me was at the consultation, when I signed the contract. Once the contract was signed, the dentists didn't return my calls or even see me when I asked to speak with them in the office. In August 2009 I called three times and asked for the dentist to return my call. No one called back once, not even a receptionist, much less the dentists. I spent an hour and a half waiting in the Wellington office two weeks ago to speak with Dr. Haas, and she never came out to talk to me. When one of the technicians told her I had been waiting an hour and a half, she didn't even come out of the exam room for as much as a "hello", or an "I'm sorry; we're busy." My husband lost his job and his insurance, and things have gone downhill from there. With every visit they ask me for money before they'll see my daughter. It's ALL ABOUT THE MONEY to them. Steer clear!!!!! more

This is a husband-wife business. They have four children of their own and cater to that audience. When they moved to this location they had the kids in mind. When you walk in you're greeted with vibrant walls that are painted so you feel like you're underwater. They even have a "boat" in the waiting area where the kids can play video games. Way cool! My boyfriend, one brother, two sisters and now his nephew (!) all went to Freedman & Haas. His nephew will actually get his braces off tomorrow after less than two years. I don't know if this is common practice, but they take a before and after photo of you and when you get your braces off they give you copies and a "congratulations" mug. At least that's what they did for my boyfriend when he got his off 7 years ago. Oh, and one more thing....they have that cool one cup coffee maker. I don't drink coffee, but they also have tea. They also have hot chocolate for the kids. Last time I was there they also had cookies. Yummy! more
