I contracted with this business for a low-volume run of a hundred-page book. The binding worked well.
However, the print quality was a little substandard (black and white images came out looking low-resolution.) Additionally, we sent the cover page ahead of time, and the printer decided without contacting us to print pages two through the end on what most people think of logically as page three. As a result, the page numbers on the book came out on the inside instead of the outside. (Luckily there was no content that spread across the page - it would've been a terrible mess.)
I was disappointed that they hadn't bothered to look at the material before they printed it; likewise, I was distressed that the printer never sent followup emails to confirm the receipt of various pages of the book. Certainly it was not all their fault; but the lesser communication was distressing, and I'm not sure I'd work with this company on a printing contract again.
