This place is really high class, especially compared to some of the tiny hole in the well sort of restaurants in the area. The atmosphere and service here are really top notch, When I was here, the manager came to our table and made sure himself that everything was good and perfect for us. The meal you will have here will be a little bit more expensive than the surrounding restaurants, but you will be getting not only good food, but a great atmosphere and great service. The only thing I did not like her were their chicken tikkas. They were too dry and not spicy enough for my tastes. more

This is a nice Indian restaurant on Devon Avenue. The way this restaurant is decorated and kept, you will enjoy the sophistication of everything here. The food, I think, is just okay. It is a bit expensive for the area and does not taste as good. The butter chicken they serve here is made much better accross the street at Sabri Nehari. However, service was good and food was not all that bad so this place is somewhere I will go to again for the nice atmosphere and service. more

Good Indian Food 2/15/2006

This is a wonderful place to go to get some really tasty Indian food. They have a really extensive menu and they offer a lot of different choices. What I really liked about this place was that the server let us choose the "spicyness" of the meal. We could either make it low, mild, or very spicy. The food was cooked fresh on the grill. Its a clean and well kept restaurant with some great service. The food was very yummy too and everybody in our party really enjoyed the meal and the wonderful service this restaurant offered. more

Great ambiance and delicious food 8/25/2005

Tiffin is one of the best restaurants on devon ave. It offers not only great food but also great ambiance, which is not met by any other Indian restaurant on Devon. The offer lunch buffet which is pretty elaborate with a great menu. There a a lot of vegetarian and non vegetarian dishes available. Tiffin is also great for dinners. You can order most of the items offered in the lunch buffet plus more. My favorite is their lamb achari. It is a combination of pickle masala and lamb. I also recommend their tandoori roti against the usual naan. Also worth trying are their gulab jamuns. more

Excellent food 8/24/2005

Cuisine is Asian Indian. One of the best restaurants on Devon. Great buffets on the weekends. Also pretty reasonably priced. Entrées run about $21-30. Entrées can be made to be either spicy or mild if ordering dinner. Their tandoori and nan are very good. They also have a great selection of vegetarian items. The service is pretty good. Reservations can be made before in advance. Zagat rated. Has a full bar and is kid friendly. Many families bring their families for the buffet. The atmosphere is formal enough to bring a date to though. more

If your looking for a high class indian meal check out Tiffin on Devon Ave in Chicago. Their food is one of the best indian cuisine I have ever tasted. They also have very nice desserts. The choices in the buffet are amazing. Their level of service there is also very high quality. I would highly recommend this places to all people. more

This is a really authentic Indian cuisine restraunt. The ambiance of the restraunt is really sophisticated and the service is great. They have a really extensive menu and everything I've had here has been really scrumptious. They're food is reasonably priced and the portions are great too! more
