Sagami tei is an outstanding teppan restaurant, the service is friendly and the food is very good. The teppan bar is recommended versus sitting at a table. Try the Filet mignon (rare) with butter, get the fried rice...you are set! Stay away from the sushi, unless average , poorly cut fish is your thing. The ""stinky roll"" is pretty good but most of the sushi is sub-par. A true ""sushi connoisseur"" would never eat at an ""all you can eat"" restaurant. Quality fish cannot be served in this concept. I love this place, I just go to a sushi place to eat sushi and this is first and foremost a Teppan restaurant. Make a reservation on Friday or Saturday or you will wait forever. There is limited parking, some times the beer could be colder but I still love this place.
Pros: Great teppan, great chefs, lots of fun.
Cons: The sushi, drab interior, suspect bathrooms and poor parking.
