Yummy Tacos 9/3/2009

Been here 3 times over the last 2 years. Very courteous wait staff, knowledgeable with the menu and recommendations. Right now they have the tri-taco (soft taco) for lunch special. It was recommended to us and was sold on the spot. We loved it. Also right now, for each dessert sold, $1 goes into a charity. I love the happy hour there, the drinks, and overall the atmosphere, and patio seating. Check them out! One of Kirkland's favorite. more

Hispanic Fusion in the Heart of Kirkland 9/21/2005

This is a cool place to meet some pals after work for some drinks and dinner. The food isn't like the average Mexican place, there are some creative combinations, it's like fusion-hispanic food. Great place to find something familiar with a new twist. It is a trendy sort of place with great atmosphere and a reasonable bill too. Parking nearby is limited, you may have to park on the street and walk a bit. more

When you want more authentic than Tex-Mex. 8/12/2005

Cactus serves authentic Spanish/Mexican food in downtown Kirkland. The atmosphere is fun and casual. The service is good. The food is delicious and served hot. We had the chimichangas and burritos and everyone was stuffed. They use real black beans instead of refried beans. They are known for their tapas bar. Their margaritas are big and made just right. They do offer a kids menu. Parking is difficult in front, but it is just down the street from the main downtown parking garage. more
