Family Friendly 7/29/2013

This place is incredible! Not only does it have every thing you would ever want in a swim club, but they wrote the book on "Family Friendly" The staff is super nice and professional while they make everyone follow the rules. Just last week by two sons (7 and 9 yrs old) were bullied off the baskeketball court by older teens (15 ish). Not only was the problem solved, but the owner made it very clear that kind of behavior would not be tolerated. They had to appologize to my children and myself!!! This is our first year as members and will continue to be for many years to come. more

Nice but... 7/12/2012

The place is nice for families but when your children become teenagers they will be looked at as trouble makers even if they do nothing wrong. The owner believes any parental complaint even when they're mistaken and threatens to throw people out at the drop of a hat without hearing both sides. Although I agree with having and following rules, his enforcement of them borders on tyranny, discrimination and racism. He doesn't listen to reason and anyone who has an opinion that differs from his is a threat and will be kicked out, even for the most mundane thing. He is a class A jerk. more

Fantastic Facility 5/2/2009

Green Valley is just plain fantastic. There is something for everyone. We just love to spend the day. The owners expand the property every few years so that everyone spreads out and it doesn't seem as crowded as another pool we used to go to. Everything is very well maintained. There's a ton of sports and activities for the kids and parents to do, including the new water park that was added last year. We love the moonlight swims. We pack dinner and use their free grills to have a cookout! The snack bar even makes funnel cakes on moonlight swim nights! Very family friendly. The guards are very strict with everyone; it's a very tightly run ship! I highly recommend it to everyone. more

Awsome Place 1/10/2009

Green Valley is an awesome family place. It has just about everything possible for an outdoor facility. It has swimming in 3 pools (baby, lap and large family pool) a water park, volleyball to basketball. My family and I can spend the day because there is something for everyone to do. My older kids can swim with friends while I play basketball with the little one while my wife swims laps. For dinner we will cook on the free gas grill or eat at the on site restaurant. There are over 100 picnic table. The service and staff are fantastic and the ground are clean and well maintained. The Tuesday & Friday evening swims with a DJ are family events with family music. more

Cool Off In This Great Pool! 10/24/2005

Green Valley Pool is a locally owned and operated swimming pool. The pool is good size with a baby pool for the little ones. It also has a sand area for kids to play. There is a volleyball area and this is always popular with the teens. There is the traditional pool snack bar. The pool has great hours and plenty of staff. Parking is ample. more

Green Valley Pool is a good size facility. It has a sand area for kiddos to play. It has a volleyball area and this is always popular. There is a traditional pool snack bar, all items are not always in stock, this however does not deter kids from having a great time. It is everything you think a local family swimming pool would be. You've got the big pool, baby pool and lots of room to place your blanket and beach chair. The one drawback is it can and usually does get packed. more

Splash was a good time! 8/19/2005

I remember that this was a really great time. Although, the facility seemed to be a little dated to me. Also, they didn't have any french fries when my son and I tried to order some. The young man behind the counter was also somewhat rude. The grounds and pool seemed to be very well kept. The pool itself was clean and in good repair. more

Hang out with friends all summer long! 8/11/2005

Green Valley Swimming Pool can't be beat for a cool summer hangout! Great for families, the club offers a large pool with diving boards and slides, a smaller pool for lap swimming, and of course a kiddie pool! Plenty of lifeguards are on hand to keep things safe. Also offered are sanded areas for volleyball and a large grassy area for lounging and play. You'll also need quarters for the arcade and the snack bar offers subs, pizza, snow cones, and various other summer snack fare - all at reasonable prices! There are also a couple of pavilions for private parties. Membership is based on family size. The pool gets incredibly crowded - not sure if there's a cap on the number of memberships sold. An overall fun place to be! more
