As you drive around San Antonio you might notice billboards for Sam's Embroidery Clubs. These deals are not for the masses. While they have a great selection of items to embroid...

Don't do it! 2/11/2013

I ordered a large group for my company. First they quoted me the wrong price, then I had to take time out of my day to visit the store 4 times to approve the logo before they even started on our shirts. They were unprofessional and unorganized. They messed up on a few sizes and the shirts were late. Go somewhere else! more

Reliable in my experience 12/5/2012

Recently I sent in a fencer's jacket to get embroidered on short notice and the turnaround time was 24 hrs. I was told it would be ready for pick up at 10 am. I went in at 10 am and my jacket was ready for pick up as I was promised. We made our flight later that day. Two years ago at his old location..same situation. I had a fencer's jacket that needed embroidery--main reason I went back. Not to mention great work! Colors matched, design centered, and just like I wanted. If I need anything embroidered Sam's is where I'll go. I recommend this business! more

Did not deliver 10/3/2012

Simply speaking...I was told I 'd have my product on time...and I did not. When I went to pick it up, they had not even started. I waited an hour for them to set it up and the "sample" was nothing like what I asked for. I asked for a refund...which was given but only after making a big scene. Go somewhere else. more

RUDE 6/12/2012

Visited the new shop that the owner Sam said he had to move to because of a divorce - LIE. Ordered shirts on 5/26/12, said they would be ready by Tuesday or Wednesday of following week, no shirts. Called today 6/12/12, was told they were not ready. They could be ready by 3:00 pm, told him I was tired of broken promises. Have ordered for years from him and each time they are late, requires follow up each time. Today Sam told me he didn't need my business because he had business all over town and I could fuck myself. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!! more

Wrong color thread 1/5/2012

I just picked up an item I really needed as a gift and it turns out they used the wrong color thread. :o( My fault for not checking it better before leaving but you would think they could match colors. more

Delays and lied to 9/20/2011

i started the process in july. i am now in september and stll order is not complete. shirts that i did get took three weeks and when recived some one was an entirely different style than all the others, some were missing and had extras of one size that he offerd to sell me anyway (at the same price). when i got back with them to follow up on the remainder of order i was asked to tell them again what styles/colors i was missing. they had forgotten about them. i was told that they have "hundreds" of orders to keep up with. i gave up. stayed with what i had recived so far and moved on to another company to complete the order. more

Sammy's Embroidery Club 9/1/2011

The billboards ARE for the masses and ARE for real. Although I believed there to be a catch, as well, I found myself needing overnight tee-shirts for a 7 on 7 team and Sammy did not charge any set up or artwork fee. He scanned the image from a shirt my son was wearing and had 5O shirts-25 blue & 25 white-done the next day. The tee shirts were a good, durable 50/50 blend, and had different color lettering than the tee printed on both sides. Fast, friendly, and afforadable. Our booster club at our high school just recently ordered visors and caps and tote bags all at about half of what we had beem quoted elsewhere. Just make sure you go to the "Original" Sammy's, across from McDonalds's, same strip center as Big Lots. more

Don't believe the billboards 8/10/2005

As you drive around San Antonio you might notice billboards for Sam's Embroidery Clubs. These deals are not for the masses. While they have a great selection of items to embroider and are more than willing to special order items not in stock, they will charge a setup fee and a digitizing fee if you are not placing a large order. For the small business owner or person placing a small order the advertised $7.99 per polo style shirt is unachievable. They do good work but the turn around time leads a little to be desired and they do not confirm with special order companies whether or not their goods are still in stock. more
