Jerome's Furniture

I recently bought about $4k worth of furniture from Jerome's and it was the worst experience of any store I have been to. I had read all of the previous poor reviews about delivery and customer service, but there was a store fairly close so I thought I would give them a chance. I asked several times about whether the items were in stock, in which I was told it was. The same day delivery is a joke, as they were too busy. I agreed to have the items delivered between 10:00 and 2:30, and of course they show up at 2:30 pm. Only 5 of the 7 pieces were delivered and it took a trip back to the store with my receipt to convince them that I was owed the rest of the furniture. They apologized, waived the delivery charge, and set the new time for 10:00 pm to 12:30 am that same day. I was called several times with delays and different deadlines. At 1:00am they called me and asked if they could come by at 2:00am to 2:30am. Obviously that is unacceptable, so I canceled. I called the store to find out the new time, as I was suppose to get a call by 6:00 pm that never happened. Back to the store with my receipt, and another hour wasted. What ever you do, stay away from Jerome's. more

This is where I shop for furniture in San Diego. They have a huge selection of all sorts of furniture, from beds to tables. The prices are extremely low and they have sales regularly. The sales people are very helpful and friendly. I have gotten free, fast delivery when I've shopped there and even had free Scotch-guarding done on a couch. more

Jerome's carries qualify furniture at awesome prices. The selection is great, they have something for every taste and every budget. The sales staff is there if you need them, but they are not pushy at all. They have convient locations no matter where you are in San Diego. Delivery takes about a week or you can pick up your purchase. more
