It's always very exciting going to a newly opened restaurant but often disappointing, as the little details are not quite organized in time for opening, staff are undertrained or unfamiliar with the menu etc. My starter of Lambs kidneys on toast was unusual and delicious. It was full of flavours and presented in the simple way such dishes ought to be. The main course was equally delicious and again, quite an unusual dish. This was all washed down with some excellent and fairly priced Rhone. Sadly, having eaten 2 pretty rich courses there was no room for pudding, but that's probably my own fault. Besides, that can be my excuse to go back soon.
