Local Board Shop 9/1/2005

Encinitas Surfboards is a great local surfboard shop that is popular among the locals. It is a great place to buy a surfboard and it uniquely carries a wide array of used surfboards. The shop buys and sells boards and usually has really good prices. The shop also contains the normal surf accesories. The shop also contains their own Encinitas Surfboards brand clothing. more

Local great shop 8/15/2005

I really enjoy this place. They always seem to have staff in good spirits and that are willing to assist, with employees who actually know something. I also like the selection provided, even though some prices are wayyyy too expensive. I love places like this and hope it stays in buisiness for a while. more

Great local friendly surf shop 8/15/2005

When I was recently looking to surprise my husband with a new longboard, I asked around and nearly everyone pointed me to Encinitas Surfboards. I had an idea of what I wanted but needed help (and patience since I'm not a surfer myself). Matt spent a long time with me and helped me pick out a beautiful classic longboard. It was perfect and a big hit with my husband. Everyone in the shop was friendly and so helpful and so professional and knowledgable, and they had a great selection of boards and accessories. You really get a good vibe from the store. more

Cool guys and great buys 8/12/2005

This is a small surf shop in Encinitas. They shape high quality surfboards, and have prices that are very competitive. You can also rent foam surfboards if you are a beginner and would like to learn without killing yourself in the process. They also sell other surf related products such as wetsuits, accessories, wax and tide charts. Of course, they also have many selections for women as well. With the growing population of female surfers, they are up to speed with the trends. more

The Real Deal 8/9/2005

Having to compete with a veritable supermarket of surfing blocks from your small store must be quite daunting but Encinitas Surfboards has a local following that can't be matched by size alone. Kies Surfboards are reason enough to frequent this locally owned and operated store. Great sales people who know the area and know surfing. more
