It was fun! 4/15/2006

I'm not really into Star Trek, but I still had a great time at Star Trek, The Experience. Both rides were pretty cool, and kept me entertained. I thought it was cool that while you were waiting in lines for the ride, there was always plenty to look at on the walls to keep you busy, so you didn’t feel like you were waiting as long. I went with a group of people, and everyone there had a great time. It's definitely something worth checking out. more

The Trouble with Trekkies: Star Trek Klingon Encounter 3/7/2006

Okay, the cat's out of the bag. I'm a closet Trekkie. My husband and I decided to treat ourselves to this ride/simulator/museum at the Vegas Hilton, and we were not disappointed! While the ride is your standard simulator (think Disney's Star Tours), the pre-show and loading experience is just unbelievable. I won't give away what happens, but if the ride ended with just getting on board the simulator, it was worth the price of admission. A note of caution- don't let the employees rush you through the museum of the future, even if a "ship" is leaving soon. It's chock full of cool artifacts and Trek trivia. Also, after you disembark, you're tossed into a pretty neat Trek-themed casino and restaurant. more

Star Trek the Experience 2/28/2006

My wife and I decided to treat ourselves to a little Star Trek extravaganza, so we bought tickets to the simulator ride, Klingon Encounter. We were really impressed with all the theming inside the Hilton, and we both especially loved the "Museum of the Future" that featured tons of props from the movies and various series. For all the Trekkies out there, it's a must-see! The pre-show was out of this world (no pun intended) and we actually felt like we were suddenly on the bridge of the Enterprise. Great special effects! The only letdown was the simulator itself, but I'd put it on the same level as Disney simulators, so still pretty good. Overall, a really fun experience for all ages! more

Very Cool 8/29/2005

I've never really been into startrek, but this place is cool. It's been upgraded with another attraction since I last visited, so I hear it's even better. You are greated by characters from the newer incarnations of startrek with full 3-d prosthetic makeup, and as you wait in the queue, you are led past an impressive display of actual props from all the shows presented in the form of a historical timeline of the future. Then once at the head of the line, something goes wrong, and I won't ruin it, but you are suddenly transported aboard the enterprise and tour the ship before boarding a simulator ride to save the las vegas strip from the borg. more

Star Trek: Klingon Encounter 8/9/2005

The Star Trek: Klingon Encounter is the first of 2 interactive shows at the Las Vegas Hilton. In this ride you take a tour on the USS Enterprise and something goes terribly wrong. This show contains video and live actors. I recommend that you get the dual ticked so you can ride this and the Borg Invasion 4-D. more

Star Trek: BORG Invasion 4D 8/9/2005

The Star Trek: BORG Invasion 4D at the Las Vegas Hilton is a must for all you starwars fans. It is a state of the art experience. It combines live actors with a show for a extraordiary Star Trek experience. Watch out for all of those Borgs! I recommend getting the dual ticket so you can ride the original Star Trek the experience. more
