The Upper West Side is diner-heavy, but this sometimes-tourist-filled, sometimes-totally-empty corner restaurant stands out.
The food is above average for a diner, and the service is fast and good. You never want for water! Checks are delivered shortly after the plates of food, but there is never a rush to evacuate your table - they insist you take your time and pay "when you're ready".
Their menu is vast - literally pages long - and can almost be overwhelming. Be adventurous - as the grilled cheese is just as good as the souvlaki!
